Having had a near fifty years career as psychic reader, I can tell you that the majority of clients listened only to 

the end result - will I get it? - rather than the path to how to achieve whatever they asked about.

To gain the most from a reading you really need to take time to review what was said about the past, present and future.

 For instance, what did the reader say about how  your PAST is effecting your future? 

 We often wonder why what we want falls short of fulfilling  - a love interest - a financial gain - the right job. 

Here's how it works, you ask about a job advancement, one you believe you've earned through doing what the company wanted. Someone else gets it. You're bummed - angry - depressed. 

The reader brings up an instance when at the age of eleven your classmates made fun of your appearance through the entire 6th grade: glasses too large, hair cut too short, etc - since then you've been worried about what others think of you. The reader suggested a way to heal that thought.

Do you take the readers' advice? Do you even remember what she said? 

What happens? Majority of my clients returned again and again, wailing and accusing me - it didn't happen!!! Waaaaaaa.

I say, did you do as advised to move it along? No. Well, there you go. After a reading it is SO important to sit down and review what was said.

The Chariot is the 7th card in the Tarot: 2023 adds up to 7.

The symbolism in the card tells you to continue on your path for achieving enlightenment to supports your life purpose, be that your goals, wish, - whatever you are building.

The Chariot symbolizes Astral Light; The Universal Will; Mentalism. It is about your ability to know your mind, to mentally create images, sounds, scenarios supporting your life purpose.

How strong is your mental control?

The message in the Chariot counsels you to change with a steady as-you-go attitude and actions - don't jump ahead or get stuck in a rut. 

Think before acting; make time for quietude and actively, stay in the middle of the road as you, by will, move to fulfill your desire, goals etc. To do that you'll need a clear mind.

How you interact with the world's 7 year is dependent upon your personal number for 2023. Not your birth number.

To learn your year vibration ADD your birth month + day + 2023. 

No doubt it'l add up to a double numbers; reduces that to one SINGLE number. I.E. born 1-2-2023 adds up to 10 = 1. 

If it adds up to 11, 22, 33 you can reduce, but those numbers are spiritual evolutionary ones. Research them to get a greater sense of that energy.

If your birthday is later in 2023 - say May, June and beyond - consider using your month + date+ 2022 up to that time.

UNIVERSAL MESSAGE: “Do not lose hope” comes to mind for this year. What mental messages are you sending to the universe? The Universal Will is the vehicle to move forward therefore be aware of how, what, when and why your thoughts turn to fear or anger – 

    Are you being led by the news? Or others who are angry and fearful (anger is an expression of fear)?

If you support changes that involve positive and nurturing attitudes the Chariot is an excellent symbol to mediate upon to receive creative visuals to assist your process. The world energy is for making changes that nurture the earth and residents of it, which is already in progress in some areas if you’re paying attention to the groups promoting education and action in that arena. 

    Are you focusing on what you can do to save our planet? Any small action like helping another. 

    What else can you do? 

A good year to change, which can involve locations, travel, career and how you approach relationships that are outworn and no longer serve a positive purpose in your life.

HI HO HI HO OFF TO WINCHESTER MYSTERY HOUSE I GO!

WINCHESTER MYSTERY HOUSE OR IS IT WINCHESTER MYSTICAL HOUSE? 

I am fortunate enough to be invited to give a presentation at the Winchester Mystery  House in San Jose, California. 

This beautifully structured house is one of Northern California’s premiere attractions, a national and state historic landmark and one of America’s most extraordinary homes. 

The house was once the resident of Sarah Winter, the widow of Willam Winchester, the inventor of the Winchester Reading Arms. The lore is when the widow Sarah Winchester during a psychic reading she was told to build a house to appease the many suffering souls of those who became victims of her husband's gun.

Hence the rumors of hauntings of Sarah that drove her mad causing her to have doors that didn't open, stairs that went no where and many other "unfinished" rooms were constructed. In fact construction went on daily for years. 

These strange additions in the house supposedly were for Mrs. W to flee the hauntings of these spirits.

It's also rumored Mrs. Winchester held seance in the home to connect to the spirits. That could have been but I doubt the spirit communications were to the victim spirits.

In 2022 I was invited along with Annalisa, another psychic medium, to investigate spirit activity, which I have done often in other locations (see The Haunted Bay, Amazon Prime and YouTube). I found the house to yes, have spirit activity, and no, not malignant spirits roaming around at the Winchester House. 

The spirits I encountered are of a different era - seen in a space and time not of the 3 dimensional space of the physical human experience. Let me give you an example:

You're looking through a window at a party going on right outside your house. People are laughing, smoking barbecues are grilling your favorite meal, you can just about smell it!, music is playing and there you are inside the house. You can experience what you see, hear, smell, even a reaction of tasting and an emotional feeling, but you're not OUT in the happenings.

That's a fourth dimensional sensation. A space that exists in your mind beyond the three dimension. 

As a psychic medium I can experience that space and time but I don't physically live it - well, in most cases. That's another topic. 

Mystery vs Mystical

The Winchester House - really a mansion with incredibly awesome furniture, - surrounded by gorgeous gardens and more buildings - is not a mystery to me nor would it be to those who have studied metaphysics, and beyond. 

A mystery: Who dun it? Why was it done? What is it all about?  These questions can lead to a mystical experience if one moves beyond the lore and rumors of the house.

GHOST HUNT: WHAT TO EXPECT AND TAKE

IDEAS ON HOW TO MAKE YOUR GHOST HUNT 

SUCCESSFUL, ENJOYABLE AND SAFE

Throughout time people have been interested in the paranormal activity and want to experience the thrill of seeing and hopefully meeting a ghost.

After my 50 years of "seeing" and "talking" to spirits of the dead of all kinds entities it's a myriad of  emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually experiences. I like it.

It can be thrilling and spooky, scary and a real treat to talk to ghosts. I've experienced being hit, starched, and pushed. But more than not, just connecting with spirits feels right for me. 

Ready to explore ghostly happenings safely and successfully?

Below are some suggestions/guidelines from my book, "How to Talk With Spirits." In June 2021 a movie production is scheduled based on a murder case I worked on with the police.

In the book I go into detail but below hints will get you started. 

Chapter 11

GHOST HUNTS

There is something haunting in the light of the moon.

Begin where there has been reported ghost sighting. Cities and towns often have ghost tours of historical buildings tours and/or information when you can visit. 

Spirits, ghosts and other entities can show up anywhere at anytime these places can be exciting to visit: Schools and former sites of schools: Most poltergeist activity is found when younger people live or spend much of their time, like schools. 

Murder sites.

Graveyards/Cemeteries especially eerie to visit when dark. 

Battlefields––day or night are a great place to find ghosts because of the many, violent deaths, agony and fear that surrounds the area. There will be considerable psychic energy.  

Antique stores hold a wealth of psychic information! The objects for sale have a history. 

Attitude:

Show no fear. If you have fearful thoughts, don’t go on a ghost hunt.  It can attract mean-spirited entities. If you feel fear, stop, breathe, get a grip. If you’re really frightened, leave the area and come back when you have conquered your fear.

Keep an open mind, seek to validate by fact checking afterward. 

Keep a cheerful attitude and a positive frame of mind. 

Clear your mind, keep your ears open, and trust your intuition. 

There’s no need to find ghosts or call on them to come out. They are aware of you and watch you observing. 

Have a healthy skepticism. It’s a better attitude for finding evidence. 

Ignore any low life, earthbound spirits you come across. Don’t engage. Avoid it. If it bothers you, say loudly and with conviction, “QUIT IT!” or “BE GONE!”   

• Best Time for hunting

Although, any time is good for ghostly encounters, but if possible go on a ghost hunt when it’s dark; it’s quieter although I've interacted with spirits and ghosts during the daytime.

• Logistics.

Take a buddy. He or she can hold your hand if a ghost startles you or some mean person confronts you. Or help with camera and recording equipment, or to take notes and be a witness. 

Groups: Have everyone meet near the location to go over the plan for the ghost hunt and who'll handle the recording equipment or take notes.

• Practical things to take on your ghost hunt:

Flashlights for nighttime with spare batteries. Spirit activity can drain batteries very fast as well as turn off electrical lights, such as streetlights as evident onThe Haunted Bay investigations.

Good walking shoes. Graveyards and old buildings lend themselves to uneven walks.

A face mask if you’re going into an old building with debris, mold or dirt. On one of my ghost hunts (The Defenestration Building) we were assaulted by flocks of pigeons.

A first aid kit because you may trip in the dark or a nail could be sticking out in an old building.

Identification in case you are questioned by the police or caretaker of the property. In fact when going onto private property, you get permission first. 

Since you will be in a dark, spooky place take something to defend yourself, if need be, against muggers, or other living beings who might want to hurt you. Carry mace, pepper spray or a heavy-duty flashlight. Charge your cell phone in case you need to call for help.

• Cameras and Recording Devices

Take a digital recorder to record your reactions to certain areas, and or communication with the spirit or ghost. If you’re extremely lucky, you might catch an audio response of a ghost.

I learned the older mini recorders are the best for capturing ghostly sounds. Wishing I kept mine.

Bring a video and photo camera and/or recording devices if you hope to catch a ghost on camera.  

Check batteries and take extras. 

Take pictures anywhere and everywhere and examine the results later.

Sometimes you'll see an orb, mist or sparkles in your flash or other’s flashes. Take more pictures right there, you may be near a spirit.

• Common Ghost Sense: Tell the spirits not to follow you home and to remain where they are. Yes, this can and will happen. You don’t need clingy spirits in your home.

PSYCHIC IMPRESSIONS: HOW TO KNOW IF TRUE.

Recently, with shelter-in-place my psychic mind needed some entertainment - yes, I enjoy testing my psychic impressions - so I asked another to find a place, a house where a person who thinks their is haunted.

The person who wants the investigation must have historical information to confirm what I'll pick up.

I would do this remotely.

And one was found.

I investigated a historical San Francisco home built in the late 1800s.

SPIRITS OF SUICIDE: THE DARK & LIGHT

I'm writing about suicide because I understand both sides.

Don't leave Earth. You can help heal it. 

For the first time after fifty years I publicly reveal my own experience about attempting suicide to offer guidance to the living about the loved one who took her/his life.

What are your thoughts about suicide?

There is stigma about those who attempt or commit suicide; what was wrong with her/him? It’s so selfish. Guess they were crazy, they didn’t care or think of those who love them etc.

Louis Hay says in her book, You Can Heal Your Life, those who commit suicide are "Tunnel Visioned" - only darkness, no options and that is true.

As a troubled young woman soon after my near death experience, I attempted to leave the pain of living in, what I saw, a cruel world. I was pained mentally, emotionally and physically -  feeling squeezed by all sides, no way out but to follow the darkness to a hopeful quiet place of rest.

After all Heaven was so blissful and now back to this? I saw no joy, thought no-one understood me, felt no love. 

Lost, I was soul lonely.

Luckily,  I was found and received the needed help to become the person I am today.

As a medium grieving relatives and friends of suicide victims ask me to help them understand why she/he committed suicide and to connect with the spirits to learn if they're at peace or still in pain.

In my book, How to Talk With Spirits: Seances, Mediums, Ghost Hunts you'll learn more, but now I share to help the grieving find some solace for your aching heart.

When the suicide spirit first leaves the body they continue feeling lost; drifting in darkness, maybe to some degree free of the pain the sought to flee from.  Untethered from the physical body they remain confused and lost.

Eventually most find what they’re seeking, but some don’t and they can plague the living as ghosts, but that’s another subject for another time.

I’ve learned from spirits the comfort they seek remains unfounded until they surrender to the Light and Love Of The Divine Source –– God, Buddha, Allah.

Do they miss loved ones left behind? After the initial out of all that stuff lessens, they do. They feel guilty and sad for causing pain. They hear loved ones voices crying to understand WHY??? This can add to their already painful state as they float with no anchor of peace.

My advice to the grieving living is, send comforting thoughts to those who took their lives. Try to understand it's not you, it's the person's decision and inability to stop the tunnel vision, to believe they can't be released from the pains.

As best you can in time with calmness in mind and heart even if for only a few minutes begin sending mental messages of love while holding a hand over your heart.  Say mentally or aloud her/his name you wish they find peace and comfort

 From your heart to her/his heart connect with love perhaps in a color vibration– yellow like the sun; pink as in joy, blue peace, green healing energy.

.

 Sit quietly in a semi-dark room. Light a candle to send your message and connect in a calm loving way that you know she/he left because life seemed cruel to them, not perhaps you were cruel or unkind - but to them life - but the world or another. If you know you were not as loving as you could have been, ask for forgiveness.

Recall a specific memory to share with happier time photos. Talk to the spirit as though she/he were sitting with you. Acknowledge the contributions with their unique abilities and skills. Thank her/him for time spent with you; how much you appreciated her/him. 

If not indoors, sitting in nature is a lovely way for communicating with spirit.

Difficult as this is in time you’ll find some comfort in memories. Know that you have helped to free your loved one from their pains and to travel into a peaceful place.

The will move into the Light to be comforted with Great Love. After a period of rest and learning from other spirits they’ll begin to their return to life perhaps like me, to comfort and teach others in pain.

After a while most likely you will hear from her or him thanking you for lovingly understanding. 

I'm glad my life on Earth didn't end because I found purpose through love a wonderful son, a great husband, grandchildren, nature, animals and my life purpose; work 

I enjoy. 

Blessing to you who feel there's no answer and to those left behind who feel terrible pain of loss.

SPIRIT'S SUDDEN DEATH

How Can the Living and the Dead Accept a Sudden Death?

I've mediated between the living and the dead quite a few people after the sudden or unexpected death of a beloved one.

Sometimes the death was an accident or an undetected illness like a heart attack and at times, a murder.

Very soon after the death the living person will want me to contact the spirit of the person.

A sudden death of a loved one is devastating in ways only those who've suffered from it grasp.

The shock and pain lasts for years, sometimes until the living also become spirits. A part of the living, especially with murder victims, dies also.

The ones left behind, the living that is, are in a tremendous shock; unable at times to even talk coherently and often physically effected with uncontrollable tremors.

In shock and disbelief both the living and the spirits ask how can this be? Why did it (the death) happen? Repeating it over and over.

That shocked spirit in - disbelief says; where am I? Why can't she or he (the living) hear me? See me? Please, help me. I need to be with (a loved one.) I'm afraid.

Often in an accident the body was damaged, mangled, deeply hurt - perhaps their body was crushed in an accident, or died by fire or in some case the person had been shot or stabbed to death and the spirit looks at their bodies shocked at what they see: Why does my body hurt so bad? Why can't I move my arms or legs. Why am I bleeding so much?

The spirit wants to understand how they "flew" out of their body - still feeling attached to the physical  body with no time to adjust to being near death like with a lingering illness or age related.

Chaos.Confusion. Fear. Disbelief. On both sides: the living and the dead.

And, how can I be of help - how do I interact in a calm and healing way for both sides?

It's sad and difficult to tell the living, please give him or her time to adjust being gone from their physical body.

To the spirit I say, you no longer exist as a physical being. You had an accident, a heart attack, or were killed.

Anger on both sides. Stay calm, I tell myself listening to the wails and rants of injustice, the blaming.

My advice isn't readily accepted nor is it appreciated, at least for a while.

Gently I say, please give him or her (the spirit) time to accept the death, the transition.

I mediate between them - carrying messages back and forth in some reasonable way to sort through muddled words, sobs -  to listen to both sides and make sense of it:
The living -who murdered you? The spirit: Why was I murdered?
The living - did you feel a lot of pain?
The spirit: It was a terrible pain and then I woke up in a different place.

In time, some of the high anxiety settles. Shock shifts to grief, grief shifts to acceptance for most on both sides and then the yearning to stay connected leads to a more peaceful communication.

My role as a medium with The Haunted Bay Paranormal Investigations began as a favor and also a bit of curiosity.

In 2014 I retired from private practice after over forty years as a psychic reading and medium when I got a call from Ying Liu, a young woman I had read for a few years previous.

Ying asked if I'd visit the infamous unsolved Zodiac murder sites to "feel" if the victims' spirits lingered. I said no, not wanting to be a part of that tragedy.

Murder had already been part of my psychic experiences having worked with law enforcement on a few murder cases. To those curious let me tell you it's no fun. It's a sad ugly to be part of the terror and pain of another being murdered.

A few weeks later Ying contacted me with another ghost hunt in the infamous Condor Club on Broadway, San Francisco.

Now that sounded an interestingly fun time.

I grew up in San Francisco but never went into the Condor. Nice girls just didn't go into a strip joint, no what I mean? Here was my chance!

That investigation - a lot of ghost activity is there -  was the beginning of ghost hunting with Ying.

It's been quite a trip and at times frightening. Even for me a seasoned medium.

Before the investigation I ask not to be told where we're going. I always get information on the site before we arrive. Also, I don't want any information about the place. It's kind a game with myself.
Let's see what I pick up.

Let me move through the ghostly fog and slide into other dimensions. Let me tell the history. The happenings. The spirits in the space.

After the investigation Ying and at times, I research - how correct were my findings?

Getting historical data to back up every once living person and events is not easy. But, amazingly much of what I did encounter and pick up has been very accurate.

2029 Poll Reveals 45 percent of Americans expressed a belief in ghosts. Many believe that ghosts and spirits can come back to haunt certain places on Earth. About four in 10 (43%) US adults say they think ghosts can come back and haunt people or places. Women (51%) are more likely than men (35%) to hold this belief. 

More than one-third of Americans (36%) say that they have personally felt the presence of a spirit or ghost. Once again, women (41%) are more likely than men (31%) to say that this has happened to them. Just over one in ten (13%) Americans say that they have communicated directly with a ghost or spirit of someone who has died. 

It's not surprising that readers of my book, "How to Talk With Spirits" Seances, Mediums, Ghost Hunts" write to me about their own encounters and most have said the book gave them comfort and confirmation they're not crazy.

My life of ghostly visitations began after a NDE - near death experience after a near fatal  auto accident when I was a young woman. I write about in my book, How to Talk With Spirits: Seances, Mediums, Ghost Hunts. 

On February 25th in Pacifica, California I'm giving a talk about NDE (near death experience). 

In a few days of announcing it, the event is more than 1/2 filled.  It is a great interstate's to many, as I've learned over the years. 

People are interested in understanding how and why paranormal and parapsychology occurrence happen because either they've experienced them or believe those who have had them. With this, I'm back to teaching a class on psychic awareness and if you're a medium.
