Please note: Before my ghost walks I do not research or engage in any conversations where information of the site or history is given. I walk into the situation psychically clear and open.
The latest paranormal investigation I did was one of the most intense ghost
bustings I've done since Jamaica in '96. Photos by Matthew Abaya of the room with the view - Top
floor facing Sixth Street at the Hugo Hotel (The Defenstration
Building). Scariest looking room in the building. #ghosthunt
Even I got spook (not easy to do) with a real frightening encounter toward the end of the walk - much more than my previous two part series Walk with a Medium in San Francisco's infamous Barbary Coast (youtube.com). Photos below.
Along with Ying Liu, the producer of the The Haunted Bay, filmmaker and director Matthew Abaya (I Don't Care Productions), my husband and Haunted Bay crew member, Donny, we entered the Hugo Hotel better known as the Defenstration Building at the corner of Sixth and Howard Streets, San Francisco last Thursday. This building is as unique as they come.
The art was created by artist Brian Goggin in 1997 and in July, 2014 will be demolished, the art work has been given away, sold or in the process of being sold. Read about this most interesting story of creation at link Metaphorm below.
Photos: Metaphorm.org
THE WALK: The ground floor main room is still somewhat intact because artist had been gathering there for arty fun gigs. Some art and quite a few grand pianos are still there. In that room I conducted a protection blessing ritual with oils and incense for this particular event on all of us because the haunting in this location were intense and some, not very nice.
We
checked our flashlights, cameras, audio, and put on our facemask (much debris and more reasons upstairs) before proceeding to investigate what spirits
awaited us.
For days before I got to the building I psychically saw chaos
- people running everywhere. Fire, the building collapsing. I hadn't seen what else lurked in the belly of the building. In the basement dark shadows entities slithered and dashed here and there. I announced what I saw and Donny also saw them. Creepy. To the others I explained about these entities - not really spirits of what had been a living physical person but products of low-grade or vampire entities. They seem to follow underground water energy. No one knew if there was any in that location. Ying will do the research and answer it on the upcoming video to be seen on youtube.com.
The manager of the building came and unlocked the door leading to the four floors upstairs. Each floor is gutted
with just frames of what had been rooms - many, rooms. Old bathtubs and
toilets strewn around, glass, pulled up carpet. We walked up the four
floors, very carefully, one at a time, the boards trembling beneath us.
Spooky.
I saw and heard on the psychic level chaos, crying, screaming & lively spirits plus pigeons
flying around us - all of this in the dark with a bit of comfort from the camera light and flashlights as we moved further into the scene.
We encountered various spirits of some who lived in the building - a hotel and then a tenement house - from 1910 onward. Some were sad, some frightened, another cheery and one very outspoken! At each floor a spirit or two revealed her and himself.
After a couple of hours we carefully we made o
ur way up to the roof
to collect ourselves.
The video will be out in a few months. You won't want to miss the ending! Holy Crap, do I really want to keep doing this? My heart
was racing and I'm used to ghosts and spirit communication but....

Tarot Cards: A Deeper Connection Through Paul Foster Case
The Tarot: A Key to the Wisdom of the Ages by Paul Foster Case is an in-depth study of the tarot cards (Rider-Waite deck) in relationship to messages within the Qabalah or Secret Wisdom of Israel.
I, like many who began studying the tarot cards and perhaps as I, for the purpose of psychic readings, used the small booklet that came with the deck. Later I was gifted a book more detailed of each card (symbols, colors, numerology and astrological influences.) Still nothing gave me the information as did The Tarot: A Key to the Wisdom of the Ages. I've only been studying the Major Arcana cards from his teachings for about five years and my forty-five year relationship with the tarot has deepened. For instance 'The Fool' card begins our journey. Aleph is the Hebrew equivalent writes Case. "Fiery or Scintillating Intelligence is the mode of consciousness assigned to Aleph. Breath keeps a fire alight in our bodies."
We tarot students know The Fool is the beginning of a journey or a path (project, awareness, goal etc), but to think we breathe in the fiery essence that awakens our scintillating (lively imagination) intelligence gives new meaning or a greater clarity to the symbol of the fool. "The Qabalists called this Limitless Light."
In his introduction Case says "Never has Ageless Wisdom attempted to define this One Reality. ... Yet in every age the report of the wise has been that in the One Something inheres the power to 'know'." If you undertake as a serious student, the study of spiritual and intellect growth in order you live fully your talents, abilities, and uniqueness then this book will surely give power to you thoughts and grow your awareness. I recommend it for all serious minded students of the occult and metaphysical interests as well as for the person who wishes to expand her or his spiritual connection to universal knowledge.
I won't pretend that study through this book is easy (to me anyway) and one would most likely stop at each chapter, which is full of esoteric teachings such as the direction of awakening assigned to each card. The Fool is North-West "...symbolic of the unknown, and of the state just prior to the initiation of a creative process."
If your intention is to deepen your knowledge of the wisdom of alchemical living (the right ingredients to live fully)and to move beyond the psychic reading (future telling) of the tarot, I recommend this book. So Mote it Be.
My, The Timeless Counselor: The Best Guide to a Successful Reading, is a complete consumer's guide and my first novel, The Skye in June, one of the main characters begins to learn the tarot at four years of age. To review all my books please go to june ahern dot com

I throughout enjoyed reading City Of Redemption.
Not only did the story keep my interest but growing up in the
Haight/Ashbury district, in the 1960's, myself, the characters could
have been my neighbors! Even when I put the book down my mind was still
thinking about the story, looking forward to reading more.

KARMA TUNING
You can change your karma to fulfill your lessons from another life time. Karma is action and reaction to determine the nature of the person's next existence. As you fulfill your karma you can create new karma to redirect your spiritual awareness and growth. Some think of karma as fate. I do not. Fate decides for you, destiny is place you are going but you can choose how to get to it.
I talk about the several ways to examine your past life on my June 3rd, '14 radio show - listen to it here or go to my co-host Yerevan's site www.readingsbyyerevan.com see radio shows then June Ahern.
You can journal your thoughts and/or dreams of another time. Once you have expressed your thoughts or jotted down your dreams you can refer to history books to see if what you saw, heard, and thought about matches up during that historical time.
A psychic reader might be able to pick-up your past lives or try karmic astrology. I've never done but sounds interesting. I prefer a person to experience for him or herself a past life through hypnosis. I am a certified hypnotherapist and specifically went to school for the purpose of helping others attain information about past lives.
The belief we lived before isn't a "new age" concept (or interest). It has been around for a long, long time through many cultures, religions and famous people. Poets Walt Whitman, Alfred Tennyson and William Yeats all referred to other lives in their poetry. Inventors Thomas Edison and Henry Ford had several conversations about past lives. Plato and General George Patton believed in reincarnation. In Mark Twain’s My Platonic Sweetheart he refers to a past life in his reference to a girl he had loved in many different lands at different times. - excerpt from my consumers guide, 'The Timeless Counselor: the Best Guide to a Psychic Reading'.
Who were you in another life time? Why did you come here?
If you believe you have lived before and reincarnated (come into flesh) why have you done so? What is the purpose? What is it you wish to experience and learn in a new body, new setting, and with new opportunities? How can you be a better person?
The examination of this can give great meaning to your present life. I encourage you to experiment with how to access the information.
Come with on my ghosts complete with a massacr (part two) in San Francisco - Walk with a Medium Part One and Two The Haunted Bay Paranormal Investigations can be seen on youtube.
